Niagara Falls
I waited in the apartment for several days until it finally snowed during the day. After seeing the weather in the morning, I departed.
The sky was white because the snow was still falling.
I saw this building when I was walking. It was pretty pretty, so I stopped to watch it.
This time I parked at a souther location than last time. If one walked to the falls from the power station like what I did last time, then the bridge below would be missed:
I missed it last time. This bridge looked like a dam which enclosed some water at high position.
The power station was across the water. I wondered why the water looked green.
On left side of the picture above was lots of white, which should be mists formed by the mixture of water droplets and air.
One could have this view on the bridge. There were nearly no people, so if one wanted to shoot some sceneries, bad weathers might be good time.
Because this was a dam with water flow, when walking nearby I thought I took a shower as if it were rainy, and water was all over my glasses.
Later I tried to wipe off the "droplets" on my glasses because they blocked my sights. Surprisingly, I pushed them to the corners of the lenses! It turned out that the water drops immediately turned into little ice beads (round shape!) and stuck on the lenses. It was sad I did not take any photos.
I could see the few tall buildings of the city.
Still the water over the dam.
This was based on the same position as this photo, but in snow.
It again surprised me that the welcome center here was open. It had a loop like this used to let visitors take portraits.
The view was like this through the glass. I did not expect that at this time still there were unentertained people hanging out like me.
Gaint mist! I could nearly see nothing.
The same Horseshoe Falls in winter!
Went a little further north to see the vista. The place in the lower right corner should not be open at the moment, and the two pedestrians were maintenance personnel.
Zoomed in to see a close-up view of the waterfall.
The same paid binoculars, Rainbow Bridge and the waterfall.
The American people in hell on the other side.
